Additional notesQueensbury Cemetery Queensbury Cemetery is situated behind the Parish Church in Queensbury sometimes it can be confused with the churchyard. Situated in the centre of Queensbury it stands 1000 feet above sea level and consequently is open to some harsh elements particularly in winter. One of its features is a memorial wall where stone plaques can be engraved (Memorial Wall now full kerb plaques now introduced) in memory of loved ones. The cemetery opened in 1905 and on average 10 interments take place every year.
