Additional notesOpened in 1893 on non-denominational lines to relieve pressure on the over crowded 'Bronte' parish churchyard , the cemetery is about half a mile from Haworth village, overlooking the countryside. The Cemetery's 'tourist attraction' is the grave of Lily Cove, a lady balloonist fatally injured during an ascent at Haworth in 1906. Her grave was paid for by three local residents, and is just to the right of the entrance gates. There is no water tap in the Cemetery.
