Office opening timesThere are usually maintenance staff on site from 0900 - 1500, who will be pleased to see casual visitors. If you wish to contact us, please telephone our Head Office in Theydon Bois and we will give you immediate attention. Our office is always staffed from 8.30am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday but there is usually somebody on duty at most other times for emergencies.
Burial choicesWe offer full burial or the burial of ashes. We also arrange cremations. All our graves are new and the plots are all single-depth. We can arrange for singles, pairs or family groups. The plots may also be pre-booked. Our burial ground is adjacent to a bluebell wood. As burials proceed, we plant trees across the area used so the bluebells spread and the loved one rests in a bluebell wood forever. No grave will ever be re-used.
Parking10 car spaces plus parking on our private road when a funeral is taking place. Where there are many cars, we allow parking on the grass and provide stewards to assist visitors.
Accessibilitywe have all the usual facilities, including ramps and toilets. We are very conscious that some of our attendees may have mobility issues and can arrange for them to be taken to the graveside by car. They may, of course, choose to remain in the Hall of Remembrance or in their own vehicle; it is their choice.
Public transportBrentwood or Shenfield are the nearest Stations. Taxis are available from each of these.
Service timesService times are arranged to suit the family and the officiant. In order to ensure that funerals are not 'hurried' or 'regimented', we normally have no more than 2 services a day.
Chapel seatingThe Hall of Remembrance seats 60 plus standing room for an additional 50. We recently used a marquee to seat 200 for one very large funeral.
RefreshmentsWe can offer tea, coffee and biscuits for a simple reception after the funeral. Families are free to augment this with 'finger food' of their own.

Additional notesWe act as funeral directors, with the full range of services offered. We have our own Private Chapel of Rest and Hall of Remembrance in which to hold unhurried funeral services. We offer burial or cremation and ashes burial among the bluebells. No grave will ever be re-used or disturbed. Individual, pairs or groups of plots may also be pre-booked. We also offer 'Golden Charter Trust' funeral plans.

Published costs and fees£650 for a single burial plot, £300 for preparation amd completion. £250 for a single ashes burial plot, £200 for preparation amd completion. £650 for a family ashes burial plot, £200 for preparation amd completion.

Memorial servicesWe can arrange memorial services. As well as the burial area, we have seats around a natural pond that has been restored and replanted so that visitors can sit and remember past, happy times. Those who bring well-behaved children are also welcome.
