Additional notesThe old church partially remains. The earliest headstone found is dated 1709. The first cemetery extension opened in 1878 and was built adjacent to the old churchyard with another extension opening in 1982 and this continues to provide lairs for interment for future generations. Cremated remains can also be interred or scattered within family lairs. There are records available from 1912. This area and cemetery is linked to the covenanting trail.
