Can an Old Headstone Be Restored?
Many existing memorials can be cleaned, repaired, relettered or refurbished, depending on their condition and cemetery regulations.
What to consider
- Have the stone and its fixings assessed before work begins.
- Use appropriate cleaning methods for the material.
- Check whether permission is required for repairs or additional lettering.
- Request a quotation that explains the proposed work and any limitations.
