What Should I Write on a Headstone?
A memorial inscription may include a name, dates, family relationship and a short personal message.
What to consider
- Start with the essential names and dates.
- Choose wording that feels personal and enduring.
- Check spelling, punctuation and date formats on the final proof.
- Ask whether space can be reserved for future additional inscriptions.
